Join LASM in the Adalié Brent Auditorium for a special lecture on the life and work of one of Louisiana’s most distinguished sculptors. The work of Frank Hayden, recognizable for its distinct influences born from the artist's deep Catholic faith, his time spent as a student of Ivan Meštrović, and his life as a man of color during the Civil Rights Movement, will be explored through the original research of LSU Professor of Art History Dr. Darius Spieth. A tour of the exhibition with LASM curator Lexi Adams will follow.
Doors open at 5:30 PM; lecture to begin at 6:00 PM.
Tickets are $15 (free for members); admission price paid at the door.
SAFETY INFORMATION: Social distancing measures will be in place during the lecture and tour. Masks are required and will be provided free-of-charge to those who arrive without them.
