Tradition/Innovation: American Masterpieces of Southern Craft and Traditional Art

Traditional artworks reflective of community aesthetics that have changed only modestly over time were accompanied by contemporary crafts reflective of individual expression and the artist’s search for connectedness and meaning. This exhibition was an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts presented by the Southern Arts Federation.
