This year, LASM kicked off a $1,000,000 phased capital improvement campaign to renovate all four of our hands-on children's galleries by 2025. All funds raised by LASM's annual Galas in 2022, 2023, and 2024 will support the important and much-needed improvements to these beloved spaces!

The transformation of Science Station into "The Seed" will complete Phase One of these renovations, with an expected opening date of Summer 2023. The Seed will be an innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)-based gallery that includes a variety of cutting-edge, hands-on exhibits and activities designed to inspire young artists and scientists ages 8-15 to hone their skills in critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Renovations to the STEAM Lab (Phase Two), Discovery Depot Workshop (Phase Three), and Discovery Depot (Phase Four) will follow the opening of "The Seed." We can't wait for you to "plant The Seed of STEAM" with us by contributing to the Gala!
