Second Nature: Artwork by Chase Mullen

On View March 15, 2024 Through September 22, 2024

Located in the The Soupcon Gallery

Chase Mullen's creations for his first museum exhibition Second Nature explore the intricate ecology of the southern region, particularly Louisiana.

Using acrylics on pristine white wooden panels, Mullen's art skillfully merges ecology with surrealism. His deep admiration for early scientific illustrations and vintage field guides inspires photorealistic contemporary works romanticizing nature, science, and human impact on the landscape.
