LASM, in collaboration with Ellemnop.art, aims to provide an opportunity for LASM’s visitors to learn, explore, and engage with original art created by local student artists.

About the Exhibit
The STEAM Gallery is designed to give student artists the opportunity to highlight their work in line with the standards followed by art industry professionals. LASM’s vision is to guide each artist through seeking opportunities to display their work, creating a cohesive artwork fit for gallery or museum representation, preparing their artwork for installation, and presenting themselves as working artists among their peers, community supporters, and art patrons.
As the opening exhibition in this space, To Be Seen, To Be Heard, To Be Valued will feature exceptional student artists representing schools in East Baton Rouge Parish. With guidance from their art teachers, the participating students have worked diligently to present themselves as emerging professional artists.
